Professional podiatrist since 1997 and podiatric foot and ankle surgeon since 2001, Dr. Kibler brings a holistic approach to medicine and surgery in order to find affordable, comfortable and effective solutions for everyone.
A passion for helping others garnered him the American Legion Scholarship for Altruism while achieving a bachelor of science degree at Juniata College, Huntingdon, PA. After a premedical scholarship year at the University of Leeds in England, he studied and received a doctor of podiatric medicine degree from the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine which is now Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia. Following his passion of working with his hands to fix problems, he completed one of the most respected foot & ankle surgery residencies in the world at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center in Philadelphia.

Jessica Wilczek, DPM joined InStride Brunswick Foot and Ankle Surgery in the summer of 2022. She is a graduate of Utica College of Syracuse University, where she completed her undergraduate degree in Biology. She then completed her doctorate in podiatric medicine at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in Manhattan, NY. Following her graduation from medical school, she trained in a 3-year podiatric medicine and surgery residency at Our Lady of Lourdes Memorial Hospital in Binghamton, NY.
She was a member of the medical community in the Elizabeth City and Outer Banks NC area for 4 years prior to moving to the greater Southport area, where she currently works alongside Dr. Joseph Kibler as a member of the InStride Brunswick Foot and Ankle Surgery team.
In her spare time, Jessica is the mother of a teenage son and two West German Shepherds. She enjoys staying fit and active and cooking multicultural dishes. She is thrilled to serve her new community and assess all of their foot and ankle needs.
